Campazzi is board certificated in both Preventive and Occupational Medicine and has trained and practiced at some of the finest medical institutions in the country. For several of his fourteen years practicing medicine, Dr. Campazzi was on staff at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. There he provided medical care to Mayo Clinic’s physicians and employees, and he was a clinical instructor for their medical school. Dr. Campazzi completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins and had the honor of serving as chief resident of his program.
In addition to his Medical Doctorate earned from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Dr. Campazzi holds a number of postgraduate degrees. He earned a Master of Public Health with emphasis in Health Care Policy and Management and a Master of Health Sciences with emphasis in Immunology and Infectious Diseases, both from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Campazzi also earned his Master of Business Administration with Health Services Management concentration from Duke University Fuqua School of Business. He completed his Bachelor of Arts at The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Campazzi has significant urgent care experience from his years at the Mayo Clinic. Additionally, he has practiced at several leading urgent care and occupational medicine clinics.
In August of 2006 Dr. Campazzi opened Island Medical Care, the only primary and urgent care medical practice on the Island of Palm Beach. The success and growth of the practice in its first year led Dr. Campazzi to greatly expand the facility. The new facility featuring digital x-ray, a trauma room for minor procedures, electronic medical records and an elegant, modern décor opened in October of 2007.
