Meet Dr. Earl J. Campazzi, Jr.

M.D., M.P.H., M.H.S., M.B.A. 

 

Dr. Earl J. Campazzi has trained and practiced at some of the finest medical institutions in the country and is board certificated in both Preventive and Occupational Medicine.  For several of his fourteen years practicing medicine, Dr. Campazzi was on staff at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. There he provided medical care to Mayo Clinic’s physicians and employees and was a clinical instructor for their medical school. Dr. Campazzi completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins and had the honor of serving as chief resident of his program.

 2009 H1N1 Swine Flu VACCINE

- Has arrived at Island Medical Care -

All interested persons are now eligible to receive the vaccine.

(All government restrictions have been lifted.)

Island Medical Care now has the following

H1N1 Vaccine in stock:

  • Injection Vaccine - For ages 36 months and older. Four hundred doses have been received as of 11/23/09. An additional four hundred doses are on order. Current inventory is expected to go quickly.
  • Children's Vaccine - .25ml Pre-Filled vaccine formulation. This is a preservative free vaccine for ages 6 - 35 months. It is given in a series of two shots, one month apart.
  • Nasal Spray Vaccine - For ages 24 months to 49 years of age.  The nasal spray is NOT indicated for pregnant women or people with underlying health conditions. 

Dr. Campazzi recommends that even if you think you have had

the 2009 H1N1 Flu, you get this vaccine.

  • Uninsured patients will be charged a $20 administration fee upfront.
  • There is no cost for the vaccine itself, which has been provided by the government at no cost to Island Medical Care.
